On-going Research Projects / Publications
Considering its reputation in Asia, this institute has been recognized by the Indian Government for postdoctoral training in cardiology and cardiothorasic surgery for National Board Examination. The Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), UK provided accreditation to this institution for its FRCS higher and basic examinations, while its extraordinary faculty trains graduate students in cardiac surgery, cardiac medicine, pathology and microbiology for Ph.D. degree from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University of Chennai, M.Phil/Ph.D. in cardiac sciences for BITS, Pilani. Moreover, this institution has research and clinical links with centers in USA, Britain, Australia, and New Zealand. In USA, MMM has a working relationship with Cedar-Sinai Medical Center (California), Heart Institute (Oregon), and Heart Institute for Children (Illinois).
